Meeting of the International Collaboration of the Pierre Auger Observatory

The first meeting of the year of the International Collaboration of the Pierre Auger Observatory is held. From April 14 to April 19, scientists, engineers and technicians from 18 countries, who are part of the Pierre Auger Observatory, share research, management reports and project news. These meetings are held twice a year, in person and online, and the dissertations take place at the Thesaurus Congress and Convention Center in Malargüe.

VISIT BY SCIENTIFIC STAFF FROM @KITKARLSRUHE

In recent days, the meeting of the Strategic Alliance between UNSAM and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, one of the largest German universities, was held in the Tanque Auditorium. 12 scientists from @kitkarlsruhe were received to analyze the program implemented jointly by both institutions and propose future perspectives. In turn, 20 UNSAM researchers participate in the exhibitions. Since 2018, when the first visit was made by 23 KIT members, until today, both institutions have been working together on multiple research projects applied to various branches. The KIT brings together more than 6,000 scientists and professors along with 26 thousand students.
